Diamond Rings

Known for their timeless look and unmissable sparkle, Hancocks diamond rings take centre-stage with one of the most stunning examples of beauty found in nature.

These outstanding stones are no more at home than in a ring, with Hancocks Jewellers in Manchester offering an impressive range in a variety of settings, cuts and precious metals.

In most cases, yes. The jewellery you see in our King Street store is the jewellery you take home with you. Wedding rings are the exception. They are made to order and we hold only one size of each design in store, so those are made up in your size before you collect them.

You can. An appointment gives you unhurried time with one of our team, a seat, and a cup of tea or a glass of fizz while you look. Call us on 0161 834 4512 or use our contact form and we will find a time that suits you.

UK delivery is free and orders are dispatched the next working day. If something is not right, you can return an online order for a refund within 14 days of receiving it, or exchange it within 30 days of dispatch, as long as it comes back to us in its original condition.

Come and see us on King Street and we will measure your finger, with no charge and no obligation. If you would rather work it out at home, our ring size guide takes you through it. Should a ring need adjusting once it is yours, we can arrange resizing.

You can pay for your new diamond ring by debit card, credit card or PayPal.
To keep your diamond ring sparkling, mix a small amount of dishwashing liquid with warm (not boiling) water. Let your ring soak in the solution for about 30 minutes. If you have any specific queries relating to the care of your diamond ring, please feel free to call our expert team on 0161 834 4512.
Yes, every solitaire diamond ring we sell comes with it’s own GIA certificate.

Three things carry most of the decision: the style of the setting, the metal it is made in, and the diamond itself. A four claw setting is the traditional choice for an engagement ring, though the size and shape of the stone can call for something different. We will talk it through with you in store.

Predominantly, the 4 C’s (carat, cut, colour and clarity) affect the price of a diamond ring. Colour is the most important, your diamond should be white with no tinges of yellow. Clarity also affects the value, a stone that is free from marks or imperfections will always bring a higher price. For example, a 1 carat diamond ring with a high colour and clarity will most likely be more expensive than a 3 carat diamond ring that draws colour and is heavily marked.
