Last week we were delighted to swap the showroom for The Ivy in Manchester, as Hancocks proudly supported The Cheshire Magazine Golden Lunch in aid of Women’s Aid. The afternoon was full of sparkle, conversation and generosity, with every moment focused on raising vital funds for an incredibly important cause.
As part of the fundraising, we were honoured to donate a beautiful Georg Jensen necklace as a prize. We will be thinking of the lucky winner each time they fasten the clasp, and we hope it brings them many years of joy, confidence, and compliments.
Speaking about the event, our owner, Roy Lunt, said, “When The Cheshire Magazine reached out to us and asked for a donation towards raising funds for Women’s Aid, it was a very easy decision to make.”
Women’s Aid carry out remarkable work, both locally and internationally, supporting women and children who are affected by domestic abuse. From practical, on the ground support to campaigning for safer futures, their work quite literally changes lives, which is why it felt so special to play even a small part in this Golden Lunch.
We are incredibly proud to have been involved in such a meaningful occasion in our home city. To everyone who attended, donated and helped to raise funds, thank you for bringing so much heart to a very glamorous afternoon.
